So I went to Spitalfields Market, just off Liverpool St. Station, to this juggling club. And it was ace. I watched people with their poi and balls and clubs and staffs for ages, and then this french dude called Julian turned up, and got out his top and sticks and began to demonstrate how he's one of the best Diabolists alive. He taught me a new trick, which I practiced for a while.

I'm getting my gear posted up for the next 3 weeks worth.

Martha (who I met on Sunday, and is lovely - and largely responsible for me destroying myself on the dance floor) and her friend Tammy taught me a couple of poi basics, which was also cool. Had a nice time at the pub afterwards as well.

Going to see 3-Iron tomorrow, and trying to avoid finding stuff out about it in the mean time.

Poi is really cool, it's got as much sub-culture as role play. My friend Duncan from back home got into it relatively recently, and loves it, there's this whole community across the UK based around it. I gave it a go, and hit myself in the head repetitively, (though Duncan said I was better than average). :p
