I've managed to come across so much good stuff this week, starting with finally buying 'In Your Honour'. It's the best depressing album I've bought since 'Electro-Shock Blues', I recon better than 'Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness' - time will prove me right or wrong. So yeah, it's pretty good.
I was lent 'The Walking Dead' volumes 1-3, graphic novels by Robert Kirkman. These too, are incredible, in a downbeat way.
Thing is, neither of these items are depressing as such. They just both evoke the kind of introspective, self-questioning mood that makes me view everything I do or have ever done as pointless, and everything I ever enjoyed as selfish.
Think I'll go and watch 'Lawn Dogs'. That'll fit right in.
