Just a couple of questions. I'd planned on discussing everything at the game on Friday, but since that's not happening...
When are you picking up the car? When are we leaving? Where are we going to meet?
I'm picking the car up on Friday. We're dropping Sierra off at the place she's staying while Hazel's away early Saturday - around 8, I believe. After that, there's two options:
1. We drive around picking everyone up
2. Everyone meets at ours early (before we get back from dropping the dog off, at the latest.) Probably we could leave C at our house, to make sure everyone can get in.
Option 2 would be better for timing, but if it's too much of a pain for people 1 is perfectly feasible.
That in mind, I'd like to be leaving around 9? I'll confirm the times tomorrow.
I'm fine with holding the fort Saturday morning while you and Hazel see Sierra safely settled at her caretakers'. I certainly could let Charles and Peter in. :)

I'm good with options 1 or 2, though option 1 is prefereable to me. Of course Charles and I, live fairly close so I could just get myself over to his place, so we'd only really need one stop downtown.

Also, I've got road maps so no one else needs to buy any.
Picking you guys up together would be perfect - send me the address :)
I'll be sure not to buy and road maps (but I will print our route ;) )

I don't have Charles' address so I'll leave that to him. In any case we can probably meet on the corner of Atwater and Demaisonneuve, that should be close enough.
The route is get on the highway, stay on the highway. :)
On another note, do we want to do something on Friday? We might all have dinner or something.
Yes, I was just going to say -- the nearest major landmark is the Old Forum on St Catherine & Atwater, a block down from Maisonneuve and two down from Sherbrooke. So maybe one of those intersections would be easiest.
And I echo gats
' questions. Plus, how much space is there for baggage per person? (I assume not a lot)
As Sierra's not coming with us, there's the boot and the footwells. The model of the car isn't certain - as we don't need to take the dog any more, I might switch us to a smaller one to save money. I'll talk to them tomorrow, and keep you all up to date :)
I figure I'll bring my duffle bag but it won't be full, so it ought to be easy to crunch it in wherever - much better than one of my hard-walled suitcases, anyway, which WOULD hog space.
Aside from that I'll have my laptop in a small computer backpack. I can leave some stuff (like my headset) at your house while we're in Ontario because I'll really only be using it on the plane. That'll make the laptop bag take up less volume too.
I don't think we're going to be pressed for space, unless everyone decides to bring a suitcase and two bags!
Good questions, lads! I third them.
You guys may also want to discuss the sleeping arrangements - there is a double bed in the spare room, a couch in the upstairs living room (where someone is likely to be jumped on by Arthur at about 7am), and another couch + a single pull-out bed in the downstairs family room. So there is plenty of sleeping space, just not all private/optimal. If two of you want to share the double bed, c'est cool, since IMO the pull-out is pretty awful, but it's up to you guys to decide how much privacy you need :) There's a downstairs bathroom with shower stall, so we should hopefully be able to avoid massive bathroom lineups...
Lol, I don't know any of these guys well enough to share the double bed with them, and Ian is definitely out on account of being married. ;) Also, I snore...
I'll let you boys fight it out and I'll take what's left, though I'd prefer if two of you share the downstairs family room so I can have a *little* modesty, anyway.
I'm fine with whatever :) I can bring a sleeping bag and kip on a floor if necessary, and 7am isn't too far off a normal time for me to get up, so I don't mind being on early morning Arthur-wrangling.
