Depression's Evolutionary Roots - Rotten Circuits
Depression's Evolutionary Roots|
Depression is always something I've thought of in terms of a sliding scale- a full-on case can include not eating, sleeping, being terrified of brick walls because they will Get You and other panic attacks, head and back pain, loss of short-term memory, among other things. However, if you take the minutest medical diagnosis and isolate its characteristics and make it a lot less severe, the thought patterns and dedication can conceivably be useful.
I would still emphatically say it's a disorder, especially because it totally shuts down some people's lives.

definitely a disorder
Yeah... when depression is really bad, you're not examining your problems and breaking them down into solvable pieces. It's just... MY LIFE IS IMPOSSIBLE.
