On the move again|
PSA for today: I start a new job with Ubisoft Montréal on July 13th of this year. I'm really looking forward to working on the [top secret, don't ask] project they have lined up!
In response to inevitable questions:
- Yes, that Montréal. The one in Québec. The Québec in Canada. Where we will be living.
- Yes, that Ubisoft. In fact, that Ubisoft Montréal, who made all the new Prince of Persia games, and Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 2 etc. etc.
That's all for now. I may or may not have time to have some kind of leaving party, so I'll keep you all up to date.

Hey buddy, what's wrong with flip top heads eh? :V
Congratulations in joining the (small) ranks of husbands / boyfriends who follow their wives / girlfriends back the land of said lady's birth!
You'll love it. Just make sure you tie up everything in the UK before leaving. That was my biggest mistake.
Fab stuff boyo, sounds like you're all sorted.
Not because I want to work for Ubisoft or live in Montréal, But because you'll be doing what you want to do, where you want to do it.
Congratulations, and Keep in touch!
I am so envious I think I died.
I'll say you said "Hi" if I get to meet Jesper Kyd :P
"may or may not have time to have some kind of leaving party"
Oh, Hell No! You assholes are NOT getting away that easily...
By which I mean, of course something will have to be arranged...
Indeed! I've been running through my head how I can get down to visit you guys - I might still be able to work something out. Regardless, I'll keep you posted about abovementioned potential party, and hope I see you one way or the other.
*grumbles about bastards who always get what they want*
[refers you to trite Rolling Stones song]
Aww :V Contragulations for me!
Dude, you are a whore for lotts of things.... :P
CONGRATULATIONS and much happiness/excitement that you'll both be so much closer for visiting!
There are so many people we'll be seeing more often, and so many people it'll be a lot harder to see.
So, on the same continent, eh? Same country, EH?
We're coming for you, Barbara..
- Crump :D
You'd better be, cube...
I'm counting on it!
