We went to my Mum's house to hang out with her side of the family, and had 3 days of doing largely "sod" and "all". Mum had told us "I'm not doing much for food, and definitely not a Christmas dinner". This is in fact Mum code for "I'm going to cook HUGE multi-dish meals, including breakfast, for every day that people are here". Everything was delicious, and after all the many kinds of food, we ate one of the cakes that Hazel has been marinading in brandy for 2 months now, which basically tasted like really, really good Christmas pudding.
Today, we've been pottering around London looking for Fancy Molasses, which was a mission doomed to failure. We tried to get it at "Let's Eat" in Milton Keynes yesterday, but they were shut. All the places we tried today didn't even seem to stock it, let alone have it in. We *did*, however, manage to grab a few things we wanted, and now we're at the Lloyds at Camden Lock, listening to what must be something like "The Cheesiest 80s and 90s hits EVER" on MTV and waiting for rosabella and her sister to get bored of Camden and catch up with us.
Good times :)
