Shock report: FOX News a farce|http://community.livejournal.com/roflcl/1597636.html
Three videos from FOX news on gay matters which show completely unbiased, fair reporting.
Nah, I'm joshing you - they're all ridiculous. Almost
hilarious, except I find it hard to laugh when I'm angry.

Fox news are a bunch of munters?
I am shocked to my very core, sirrah!
Heh I saw the title of your post and the first thing I thought was "bet its the O'Reilly Factor" and I was right :D
To be fair the program he presents was never claimed to be impartial news, he's famous for having a confrontational approach and views.I actually find him easier to watch than Richard and Judy :P But then its often easier to tolerate an idiot if he's not in your country.
They have a segment on the show called "the no spin zone". That's a pretty big claim to impartiality.
True, but then he does treat all subjects equally aggressively....Just like to point out that I am not trying to stand up for Fox news here , I hate every US news station I have seen :P
I am guessing by free from spin, they mean that he refuses to colour the news to external political pressure, as opposed to his own views.
I guess if I had not known about the show before hand I would of been angered, After watching them again I think that the first and third videos actually do agood job of pointing out the flaws in his adopted demographics argument, the guest dr in the first Vid does a great job of standing up to the interview, and the argument he puts forwards ends up at the childish comparison to drug use point.
The main argument he uses I would assume is the argument a lot of people in the US..Hell and over here too would think at first the "aaah they're just doing it to wind up the adults" argument, and does provide an oppurtunity for the guest Dr to counter that said argument. If anything I would posted the vid more from a "guest Dr pwns tv presenter" than the alarmist title it had on the origional thread.
But then I do like interviewers to grill their guests, as it can get some great dynamics going, and quite often reveals flaws in their viewpoint.
The third one is no worse than any paxman interview really, he makes a good point of asking all the questions that you would expect the demographic he represents to ask (50+). I was expecting some tirade against gay people and how they cannnot enter the USA , but really did not see much to be annoyed at, unless I missed something.
