I'm getting more used to not having the people who actually wrote the code I'm using around. Doc is still scarce (in fact, more scarce) but my debugging instincts are kicking back in - things like what to try when presented with a useless undocumented error message.
At home, I've got half the boxes away in the crawlspace, including all of the ones that needed collapsing to fit through the entrance aside from my monitor box. I'm not going to put that away until I have something to mount the monitor on, in the corner of the living room. It'll be a bit of a pain to use there, but I should be largely using the projector for my PC anyway, and I have my comfy, wheely chair so it won't be too bad to use.
My phone line is evidently connected, as this morning Demon told me that my initial line test had been passed and now they've referred my order to BT for further tests. At this rate, I'll have an internet connection before I have a working PC, and I'll have to use my Wii to set up my router! Or, y'know, borrow someone's laptop, but that would be less fun...
I'm planning to hit up Craft on Thursday, early, at the same time I pop into Argos to take a look at the grill and speakers I'm thinking about, but most definitely before time to leave for the event. If I don't find anything cheap and nice at Craft in the way of clothes storage, I'll order them from Ikea (on comes the nesting instinct - no more porn for me).
