I want to lift a big big weight. :(
I reckon you could do now - that's way more than I normally lift. It helps to have someone that knows exactly what they're talking about watching you, so that if you're going to do something stupid they can stop you.
Also they get you to do a really good warmup, were they swap in and out a ton of exercises, running and dynamic stretches.

Although he did say he reckoned I could easily lift more weight, if we hadn't been building up so slowly.
Pah, you didn't even hold it over your head, or pull a lorry or a train along or *anything*. That's what the other weight lifty people do. Sometimes they carry really big concrete balls, too. You should do that.
No, I didn't hold it over my head - then it wouldn't be a deadlift! It would be a press - I do them with lighter weights ;)
